Prof. Dr. Baskın Oran, an International Relations Instructor and a member of the Advisory Board of the Vicdan Foundation, met with participants in the 5th lecture of the Conscience Academy organized by the Vicdan Foundation. Prof. Dr. Oran's presentation was a presentation in which the place of the Lausanne Peace Treaty and the concept of Minority Rights in Turkey's historical process and Turkey's relations with minorities were examined in depth. In addition, the September 6-7 pogrom and the relations with minorities in Turkey and the consequences of this event were also discussed.
The meeting at the Conscience Academy aroused great interest among the participants. Prof. Dr. Oran's academic knowledge and experience as a member of the Conscience Foundation Advisory Board attracted the attention of the participants and provided a lively discussion environment throughout the event.
Prof. Dr. Oran's presentation covered in detail the effects of the Lausanne Peace Treaty on Turkey and the implementation of the concept of Minority Rights in Turkey.
